not good
I really like these cd sets, but this is one that I really found unhelpful. The presenter races through her script, the content is difficult to grasp often, especially at her rabid pace.
Andrea –
Excellent and Informative
These cds are excellent because they provide a wealth of information. The pace is lively and packs a good punch. The breadth and depth is astounding. I found myself listening to these css over and over again because of their richness and profound insight. I highly recommend them.

Not helpful for a beginner
The content is in depth, but the professor’s delivery is *way* too fast. I have tried to listen to it over and over, but I cannot grasp the material at the pace the lecturer covers it.

Just What I Needed The Prophets and the Old Testament
This course is just what I needed in order to strengthen my knowledge in a number of aspects of Biblical interpretation for seminary.
I read the negative reviews of this course and almost didn’t purchase it; I’m glad my curiosity overrode my fears.
While this course may not be for everybody, because the delivery may seem to be too fast for some people, I think that anyone who wants more than a superficial understanding of sacred scripture will find this course indispensable.
As with all Now You Know Courses, I listen to the lectures over and over again. I also use the study guides, especially if I think there is something I am missing.
Those who believe that the pace of the lecturer is too fast may benefit from reading the study guide as they listen to the lecture.
There is a lot of information here, and a lot to think about. It is worth spending time with this course, using the study guide, looking up any concepts you might be uncertain about and, above all — not expect to understand the whole thing in one, quick go-round.
